Title: Omoto reel

just cracked open a new Omoto Kam 500H-2spd to check it out.
Nice machine work and fit & finish. don't know what they use for grease but it's not to good. going to relube with penn blue.
Thinking of machining off the top cross bar and making an open top and powder coating the inner frame a candy apple red to
go with copper color on the rest of it.

nice job on taking the crossbar out!  do you have a picture of the drag washer material?

Didn't take the drag apart yet. will take pics when i do.
