I didn't see any info on this site about this reel, any negatives on it? I know its a single speed but do not really care. I want to use it for 60 to 120lb BFT off of NY mainly jigging It says it has 28lbs of drag with no binding, Pros and Cons? Thanks Frank

should be the same quality as the makairas, but i've never opened one up.  alan

Alan, you think they are worth the money? What is a drop down gear that they are talking about?

i think it's just the big gear box to accomodate the larger main gear.  they should be fine.  alan
