Title: Mitchell 408 paint
Post by: larry3142 on April 27, 2020, 04:36:35 PM
I came across paint that is a great match for the mitchell 408.I tried a test part and it looks like the original Midnight Blue color they used.Rust-oleum makes it. Its paint plus primer in one satin finish, the number is 249854 I got it at ACE Hardware who knew.I thought I would give it a try.The results were amazing,I did not put any clear on it or bake it.It seems to hold so for.   Hope this could help someone.

Greetings, Larry, from Minnesota.

Seems to me I bought a can or two of that paint with the same idea in mind for a 400.  I'll have to check the Item No., but I think that's the only Midnight Blue Rust-Oleum has now.
