Title: 113h Rings
Post by: Rancanfish on July 28, 2016, 04:21:06 PM
I was just wondering if there are two different versions of the inner rings on a 113h?

I still have a set of Tom's side plates that I am going to do and I was wondering if the modern 113h sets are the same as 'back in the day'?

If same / same I will just give Mo a call.   ;D

Depending on the age of the reel, yes definitely a difference.
Penn adjusted the rings over time to fit better on their newer side plate molds.

You can still fit them on the older reels, but sometimes they are tight depending on age/swelling and there is a difference in the length of the "lip", shorter on the newer rings.

We don't have any of the old stock.
