Okay guys I got 8 set of carbontex drag washers for shimano tekota 600 reels, They are about 15thounsands thicker than the stock ones, and caused the  drive shaft bearingpart#487 to stick out of the right side plate, as such the drag wasnt right, But between the roller clutch inertubePart#489 and the drive shaft bearing there is a small washer part#359 its about 15thousands thick,  so I took it out and the reel seems to work fine is this okay. forrest

Alan the drag was still a little tight backed all the way off. so i removed one bearing thrust washer right after the bearing seal, and that smoothed up the drag and allowed the drag to back all the way off. is this okay, also the new drag stack is 15th larger than original and so are the thrust washers.

that's fine.  adjusting the washer stack to get the proper range is what's needed to be done.  sounds like you nailed it.  alan
