Title: Penn SSV 10500 help/advice.
Post by: PierPirate4578 on February 16, 2018, 02:05:30 AM
Just bought a SSV 10500. I was thinking about putting it on a St. Croix Mojo 12' for surf casting sharks. I like the rod because it has a lure capacity of 6-16oz and its in my budget. I need a big lure capacity because I use big lead sometime due to current and I wanna have enough left over so I can have a decent piece of bait. Can a spinner this size even be casted far enough or am I just wasting money on the rod? Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey mate,
Just post your questions in one place and not multiple please, people will be along to answer in due course! They've already started on your other so go with that one!
