Title: Harnell re-builds
Post by: Swami805 on January 02, 2017, 01:34:19 PM
Greetings, just finished the last re-build of my quiver of harnells, an 8' light spinner, a 9'-6" heavy spinner, a 10' conventional and a 13' surf spinner.  if anyone has any old 2 piece harnells gathering dust in the corner of the garage they'd part with please let me know, grimy and beat up is fine. Thanks for looking, Sheridan

Sheridan,
Those look awesome. I have a few in excellent original condition. Really nice job on the restoration!
One of my best working Harnell's is an 11 foot blank with some creative cutting from both ends in making a 9' Bunker Spoon rod. Its without a doubt the best spoon rod I have ever owned.
My only regret is I don't have two!

Keep up the great work and all the best,  ..  Lou
