Title: Daiwa SS 1600
Post by: FishermanTom81 on April 17, 2016, 01:37:21 AM
I have ALMOST successfully cleaned a Daiwa SS 1600  One of the problems my friend was having was that the anti reverse would click on the retrieve.  All other SS 1600's I have seen do not have this click.  Does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

On that reel friction keeps the anti reverse pawl away from the ratchet when reeling. When the rotor goes back the part under the dog goes back and let's the pawl engage.
