Title: Left hand reel handles ?
Post by: Crow on July 23, 2019, 12:36:39 AM
Makules question about the "s-curve" handles got me thinking......so, I checked on the Mystic parts site, and they show "no difference, left, or right, as to the handles. BUT, I seem to remember that some one , on one of the threads, was talking about a "backwards" handle they had...or at least, had seen. So, my question for those who have been "collecting" for a while, or, those who are "into" left handed reels.....is the handle the same ? Or does the "left handed" have the "s-curve" in the other direction ?

There are no left handed handles. Some may have had the knob installed on the wrong side during mass production. ..it happens. Penn doesn't waste anything.

They usually make an 'S' curve rather than a 'Z' curve.  I can't find anything here, but a few years ago there was a discussion about how Penn handle blades can be oriented in either direction.
