Title: Newell P series handles
Post by: Newell Nut on September 11, 2019, 05:18:24 PM
Alan Chui is currently working on making Newell P series handles from my sample. The handle will have a SS grip shaft and will be designed to allow any Newell owner with a graphite handle to simply remove their paddle grip and install on the P handle. Alan is not going to make the grip portion. The SS shaft for the grip will also be removable (rather than a pressed fit) to allow for other grip options to be used. If you have any questions refer them to Alan.

Looking forward to seeing these handles soon.

Newell Nut, what length is the sample handle you provided to Alan? Similar to a 200, 300, 400, or 500 series handle?

The second generation P series handle. Works nicely on 300, 400 and 500. Has is thinking of a second hole option but I personally prefer the original and have already purchased a number of them for my reels before ebay ran out of them.

Agreed, those 2nd gen P handles are the perfect length for everything. Thanks for the information, sounds great!
