Took my grand nephew fishing and had my 712z and 420ss. He fell in love with the old school reels and barely touched his new Fierce. He was so proud of his 1st redfish especially on the old school ultra light. The carbon fiber drag worked great.
The jacks screamed line off the 712z I got from Sal. It handled them and the redfish without a problem with cf and delrin upgrade.
