Those are cool mark. He makes one with a striped bass on it that's awesome. I reworked a spinner for a gentlemen, used the bass plate, and did a black metallic paint job on it. I may have some pictures on it somewhere.
Came out great! For a custom part his prices really aren't all that bad!

That definitely beats scratching your initials into the reel.
