If you would like an extra narrow (1 5/8" - same width as the 501 and T4N1) topless Tiburon 112H kit for $149 plus $4.94 for shipping to anywhere in the USA, please post here which standard Tiburon color you would like. Tiburon's standard colors are electric blue, cobalt blue, black, silver, red, purple and dark green. If and when we accumulate 20 orders, I will get a production date and exact cost from Tiburon and then check back with everyone to confirm that their orders are still firm.
Tiburon produced a narrow kit for the 112H high speed 3/0 Senator a long time ago, and I have verified that they still have their engineering and set ups, so there would be no delays or tooling charges or other costs involved to have them run it again. All that they would require is a run of 35 kits, and maybe less since they already have the set up. I believe that they could be ready to ship by the end of March if ordered within the next two weeks. If there is enough interest, Tom might consider moving a 112H side plate project closer to the front of his project line up.
Please let me know if you would like one.
Thanks,
Randy

Wow!
Lee, I also have Tiburon working on the extra narrow (1 5/8") kits for the 114H high speed 6/0 Senator, but I am still awaiting cost information from Tiburon, and since it is a new product for them, they may not be ready for prime time until late spring. I would guess that the cost will be between $200 and $225
WOW...I was looking at my 112H's last night and wondering why there isn't more out there for these...taller spool than Jiggy and all the nice Jiggy gut upgrades that are available. I'll have to think on it.
I'll commit to one (electric blue). Anyone have a pic of the old model? Sounds like it could be cool for mid-depth jigging, even with a 5:1 SS gear set. /Joe
That sounds way cool! I'd be in for at least 1 purple one. ;D ;D
Mike
yay !! another extranarrow kit
I dont know, now the 113hnn its so narrow that its really comfortable to use it even on local fishing for corvinas, rockots, croaker, etc, that's where the 112h normal narrow kit was going to be used (when I buy it), but now I dont think the 112h will see much action.
anyway I will keep my eye on this
You know I'm in for at least one!!!
Silver
Cool
farmer 56 here.... yes put me down for one .....color silver or a matte black .... thanks farmer out.....P S now we need the double dog bridges
I have notified Randy as well.
Joe
I would buy one in cobalt blue.
1 in black
Put me up for 1 silver please
Juan
I'll take one in Pewter....thanks Randy
Thanks to everyone for the orders. Hopefully we will have enough come in by Tuesday to make this project go. I am going down to Tiburon on Wednesday to see if we can put the 16/0 Senator kits to bed, and it would be great to be able to place the order for these T3N kits too.

Ted, do you want a raw kit to have anodized? Pewter is not one of Tiburon's standard colors.
Randy,
I'll go with a purple one for my momma! She uses a lefty 112h and righty 112h depending on which shoulder hurts her more that day, lol. No kidding!
She already has an accurat-ized one and now she'll have a tiburon-ized one!
Thanks
Dom
Randy, would like at least one for starters. Silver please.
Greg
One for me in green, Thanks Randy!

In a Connecticut minute for you Lou. Do you want one?
Thanks,
Randy
Yes Please and Thank you RP. I was hoping it would not upset the apple cart!
Just finishing up your T4NI. Hopefully I'll get a few minutes to post it up next week.
Thanks for taking on this project in addition. Its most appreciated!
Regard's, .. Lou
Hey Randy, I would be interested in 2 in black if they are going to lighten the spools like they did on the 113h kits, it makes a big difference. Lmk if they are going to do this. Ed
Ed, I have one of the spools from when they made the T3N kits a long time ago, and they are very light weight. To give you an idea, the Tiburon 501 spool (the red spool in the photos below) weighs 3.4 oz. The Tiburon T3N spool, which is slightly larger in diameter and the same width, only weighs 3.1 oz. The wall thickness of the T3N spool is thinner than the 501, and there is no way that they could drill them without drilling through.
I am glad that you mentioned it because I never really looked closely at their old T3N spool, but now that I did, it would seem to make a lot of sense to make their Jigmaster and Squidder spools the same way. If they made their 501 (and Newell 322) spools the same way, it would bring the weight down to under 3 oz.
Do you still want the two T3N kits?
Thanks,
Randy
I am going to Tiburon on Wednesday and I would like to place the order for the T3N extra narrow 112H 3/0 Senator kits but so far I have only received orders for 12. Their minimum run is 35 units, and I would feel a lot better ordering them is I had 20 orders in hand. If you want one and have not ordered it, I would really appreciate it if you would please do it today or tomorrow or Wednesday morning. If I don't have the 20 units by the time that I meet with Tiburon on Wednesday afternoon, I still plan to run the kits, but it will have to wait until I get orders for at least 8 more kits.
Thanks,
Randy

There is one with your name on it Trevor. I got your message about the black spool, but all of the silver kits that I ordered for inventory have matching silver spools. Sometimes Tiburon makes a few extra parts, and if they make an extra black spool, I will use it for your kit.
Thanks for the business!
Randy
Randy,
I'll up my order to get this done... one electric blue and one purple please.
Thanks

Dom, thanks for the help, but we are good to go on the T3N kits. I am picking them up on Monday and will start shipping Wednesday next week. I only have four left to sell and they are all silver. I have you down for one purple kit. The only way that I am going to have an electric blue is if someone flakes out. Do you want it if that happens?
Thanks again,
Randy
Randy,
Sounds good to me. Sure, if one comes about in electric blue I'll take it.
Thanks and can't wait,
Dom
Thanks Dom. I'm hoping that Tiburon may have made an extra kit in electric blue. If they did, I will pick it up.
Randy if you end up with an extra red kit add it to my electric blue will ya?
Thanks as always
Will do Randy. I will let you know on Monday or Tuesday if I was able to get one from Tiburon.
Thank you.
Anyone have pics to post of the assembled reel? Line capacity? Thanks!
Joe, you can see some photos of complete reels at http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=24761.0
The line capacity is approximately 1.625/2.125, or .765% of the stock 112H capacities, or more than enough 65 lb. braid for just about anything under 100 lbs.

Here are the line specs for the 112H posted on Scotts site. Calculating .765 * 625 yds (50lb braid) = 478 yds -- Yeah, that's plenty :)
Finished Tib 112H 3/0

Lookin' good, Joseph! Where does that beefy matching handle come from?

Tiburon Joe. Randy picked it for me, Love the reel, I can't wait to get it on a rod and catch some Black Drum or Stripe Bass.
Joe
Here is my finished 112h I have been working on. It's so smooth now that I worked out a few issues with parts.
Mike
Looking good Mike, Did you use stock parts inside? I haven't gotten to mine yet.
I used the good parts from Alan C. Along with his hx gear set. I am going to modify a 113h stainless dog. They real close so it will take no time to file down to size.
Mike
These T3N kits rock...great looking reels guys! 8)
I would like one in black if possible.
Thanks
