Saw that, Yikes. It means no more fishing the buffer zone around Clarion or the other islands. Looks like it doesn't include hurricane bank or the lower zone. One less option on the long trips now.
If you're on a fly back from cabo could burn some time  and go to the tres marias, about the same amount of travel back to cabo as it is from clarion.
Maybe they'll start doing some prospecting on some of the other seamounts way offshore and find some new spots out there.
The trend is definately going in the wrong direction for long range fishing,that's for sure
