Fast fish, Newell's are excellent reels. I have 6 of them. A couple of 235-5's a G454(narrowed) and a 220-5. They are easy to work on and hold up well with the proper maintenance. The S series I don't own, so can't say to much to that end. You will want to upgrade to the carbontex fibers and if you can find an aluminum spool on say eBay that would be good. Hopefully Newellnut will chime in and give you the rundown on these reels. Good luck with your new Newell.
