so, I a guy sent me these two custom rods he wanted me to rebuild them with better guides and her selection of thread colors, etc. because a friend gave them to him.
he told be he had two sabre rods to rebuild so, I though on those vintage Sabre yellow rods but when I opened the shipping tube some really light rods came out, these seems to be built on a all graphite blank, they have some beautiful graphite layer marks all over the blank from the butt to the tip, Im not familiar with many blanks so, I dont recognize the blank brand, it has Sabre B708M and Sabre B700L in hand writing, I dont know if a Sabre blank like those really exists or they put that brand to avoid having the rod be stolen if they put Calstar, UC or any other good brand of blank mgf.
any one recognize those patterns on the blank ?
Those are Sabre Grafast blanks, composite like Seeker or Calstar Grafighters. They also made some all graphite blanks
