Title: Drag Grease for gears?

So is drag grease good for gears as well? If so you could just spread it about without contaminating the drag with the harmful gear grease.

You can use it.  It is just more expensive.  Also you don't have to apply it really thick.  Look at the gears when you take your reels apart and see where the extra grease is piled up.

I use Cal's drag grease on everything except bearings...I coat the entire inside of the reel, spool, and every part (gear included) in it-LIGHTLY!
