I am looking to modify two Tekota300 LC's. I would like to install the handles from a Torium 14 or (part number TGT1119) Trinidad 12. Do you know if these would work on the Tekota? and if so, how much would it cost to purchase two of these handles? Thanks, Matt
matt, i have a pair of tekota 500 arms that have already been modified with 2/0 kolekar grips. the problem is that they are $40 each. i had to start with a $17 shimano handle, then drill out the old grip and bolt on a $23 kolekar grip. here is the problem. it you try to cast, anyone's unbalanced handle with turn and engage the reel. it will do so in the middle of your cast and the jig will fly back and take out someone's eye. you absolutely must disable the auto-engage mechanism, which means that you will only be able to flip the reel into gear manually. if you are ok with that, then i have a pair of handles for you. alan
