Has anyone ever converted a DAM Quick 270 to bailless? If so could someone please explain the process? Thanks!

I have not done the 270  yet but i have done the 330.

The 270 is a piece of cake , i would remove the screw on top of the bail and the nut on the back side . that will free the bail wire .  just reinstall the nut for the roller .

Heck i just done it faster than i could write the procedure .  Try it first this way to see if you like it than you can refine the arm later or leave it and you can always put the bail back on ....
You can also ask Fred for the parts and you don`t  have to disassemble a good bail , just a quick switch , and you can grind off the top hole to clean it up some ...
