Hi All,

Anyone have a good online source for shims/spacers? 2 - 10mm, inner and outer?

Thx

Hi Clem,

I get mine from http://www.mcmaster.com/#round-bearing-shims/=hwub1w or from the reel mfg., such as Shimano.

McMaster only has down to 4 mm ID though.

hi! bryan. have a suggestion maybe you can add a dedicated category for all these online sources that we can buy parts from so that it's easy for all of us to browse through. thanks and tight lines...or maybe a sticky...

not alot of options.  i mostly go to mcmaster.com.  the other place is either shimano or daiwa.  when i find a random shim or washer that fits something, i try to write it down.  (yeah, good luck with that!)  then i can order a bunch later.  figure a shimano or daiwa washer will be 50 cents minimum.

Hi Mel,

Thank you for the input.  Alan and I were talking about revamping the website, but sure how to capture it with all of the stickies, categories, sub categories...  It can get way out of hand, more than it already has.  Unfortunately, we do not have the software, time, and expertise and this works okay for the most part.

As we are considering re-organizing the site, we will take your suggestion into account.

Bryan

MSC has a larger selection than McMaster, better prices and they ship overseas.
