;D
We won that tournament with poppers !
Most fish came vertical jigging knifes
From 150 to 200 grams, in gold/green pink/silver
Different brands and some home made
But the bigger fish came on poppers ! :-)
The tournament was to present 10 fish per day
2 days we did good both days.
Jigging rods were 250 to 300 grams
Reels like Saltist 30 t high speed, and similar
Popping rods 2 / 4 oz I used a tsunamy
Poppers home made, wood and tsunamy blue water
I'll try to list pictures.

Very cool, congratulations! Thanks for sharing the pictures as well.
Congratulation Eddie.
Must have been a blast to pop them up out of the water.
very nice!!!!!!
Yes we had a blast
On the first day they were easy to find on the fishfinder
Deep at 150 to 200 feet deep
The second day were nowhere to be found
So we moved closed to the island to try to find them
At points and Rocky areas
We used the boat to pull them out of rocks
Or they would rock us
And break the line.
Awesome bite
There is nothing more thrilling (well almost) than to have a fish of the caliber caught to hit a popper. The popper disappears in a swirl of water and there is an instant fight. Love it. Thanks for sharing. Dominick
Solid work!! Nothing better than catchin em on a popper. Just seeing them boil on my popper makes my heart race!!
to win anywhere,in any tournement,is a great achievement.congrats!

Well done Eddie... like the others have said, it's not easy winning any tournament. I hope the fish gods stay on your side. ;)
