Title: Mk 10 II (Gold) corrosion problem
Post by: MexicanGulf on November 15, 2023, 10:12:42 PM
Hi, my fishing buddy has a corrosion problem with his MK 10 II gold. I suggested he only change the piece, for him it is just a mere aesthetic problem as he is a perfectionist. I attach photos of the diagram with the part of the reel that has corrosion. We are unable to locate the code to order the part. can you help me ?

I think it should be piece #200 "Handle side plate assy". I err? If it's him, could you roughly tell me the price?

Yes, that's the part you want. 12001925 is the full part number.
They are 95USD.

Go to this site:
https://www.okumafishingpartsusa.com/
You have to search for the reels by their Okuma product code, and it can be quite specific... for example a gold Makaira 10 is MK-10II.

When it finds the reel, click "Show all parts" at the bottom of the page; it will give you the full list of both the "Key" (the number on the diagram) and the actual part number.
