i really should take the time to learn about the area a little better. tomorrow i am flying alaska airlines from san jose, california (sjc), to cabo san lucas/los cabos (sjd). the airplane that i am flying in is supposed to be a boeing 737-900. alaska airlines had a little hiccup last night with a different model, the 737 9 max. something about a window blowing out. :o
Wow! Hope you have a safe flight and the gear arrives in good condition
Get an isle seat!
i'm seat 21F. i'll betcha that's a window seat. they probably don't have parachutes under the seat!!! ;D

Will do!!!
TSA took 20 minutes.
Saw it on the news. A kid had his T-shirt sucked off and out the missing window. Still safer than driving, but ya never know with that; hurry-up and get it flying, or we'll lose money—-attitude.

Alan with a spinner doesn't seem likely!
Nice! Have fun!
Did well yesterday. Got a nice 37 pound wahoo!!! We filled out out limits with dorado, Sierra mackerel, grouper and amberjack.
Dinner last night was at a restaurant called Tamarindos. Lots of fun!!!
Spent 5 hours this morning cutting fish, then took a nice siesta, then fresh fish for dinner this evening.

You NEVER know what you will drag up from the salty depths of the warm Baja waters!!!!

I'm never going to live the bait picture down. I did not gaff that fish. The mate did before I could say anything. I don't know where to find the photo that Sal made that fish into a fishing lure. Still miss him. Dominick
My micro wahoo isn't that much larger.

my host was nick. he is an absolute maniac when it comes to slow pitch. it was not productive for me, but nick caught a bunch of bottom fish and a 40 pound yellowfin on slow pitch gear. thd tuna really gave him a tussle!!!

Nice, Nick is an angler after my own heart, those of us that get hooked on slow jigging it becomes an addiction and we don't want to fish any other way. ...... and yea, tougher fighting fish are a real battle on flimsy rods.
If you ever want some tips on SPJ hit me up, those jigs I gave you would be a lot of fun for Lings & RF.
