Just wanted to give props to Avet for their reel service program. I sent in my somewhat sluggish LX6/3 with a check for $44. Ten days later, my reel was returned to me it sounded and felt BRAND NEW.
They changed 6 bad bearings and returned them with the reel. So they cleaned and lubed the reel and changed $36 worth of bearings and shipped it back to me for $44. I'm pretty sure they aren't making money on this outstanding program. If you've been thinking about it, get off the fence and do it--you'll be glad you did.
