Title: TLD 50 LRS binding
Post by: darrenforeal on July 09, 2014, 02:21:02 AM
Just picked up a used TLD 50II for trolling, and with around 20lbs of drag the handle binds when winding. Even with no spool pressure. I'm going to open it up, but it has been around 10 years since I worked on a TLD. What is usually the issue that causing the binding on this reels. Shouldn't do that with only 20lbs of drag IMO.... thanks for the assistance!

if it's rough at all, it's best to replace it.  we have to do this all the time!
