Title: Okuma Cortez Prototype Reel - CZ-55W
Post by: Bryan Young on September 11, 2012, 08:34:29 PM
If you guys are on the Big Island, Tokunagas has a prototype CZ-55W for your casters.  Supposed to be super light and strong drags for our local casting needs.

Makule, probably not your needs though.

Did you change the drags out on your Catalina.  I have a few CT- 30 and I changed out the drags to greased carbon fiber and what a world of difference. They are decent reels, but they do need to be taken care off because of the frame it appears that the aluminum is not protected with a good sealing process.
