Title: Shimano Bantam Levelwing Gear Screw Needed
Post by: Master Chief on October 23, 2011, 12:37:11 AM
Just got a couple new to me Bantam 400's and I ordered new levelwind gears and unfortunately the screws have been discontinued for years. Anyone know a suitable replacement or possibly have a couple sitting around? Longshot I know, but the alternatives will be pretty pricey if I have to have them made.

Alan,

I think my biggest issue will be finding a screw long enough to bottom out and still allow rotation of the level wind while holding the plastic bushing in place. Hoping to get this worked out as the reels are in perfect shape.
