Hi does anyone know if the current version 24-130vis handle assembly will work on an older 130ST reel?

I checked- It doesn't look like it cross-references to the VIS or VS Handles. Holy crap, the VISX handle is $198 bucks! Not sure what you're looking to do, but they do have the knob assembly so you could perhaps drill out a 130ST blade and upgrade the grip. I only have up to 80T's, so I'm theoretical here, but looking at the pics I'm not sure the swale / boss on the modern handle is the same as the old one and could be the reason they don't interchange, if it doesn't fit the shift housing.

Thanks John. I talked to Mo at Mystic. It definitely wont fit.

Google Luke's Reel Repair in Maine and give him a call. He makes custom parts for older PENN 130's, including handles at one time as well.
