Happy New Year!
Where can I get 3.6:1 gears for my Newell S220-5? I'd like to switch them out for bottom fishing.
I assume I need the main gear and pinion?
I was shocked to see a used 3.6 main gear on an auction site for $50 ??? Will any Penn gears work?
Thanks for your help, this is a great site!

Hi John,
I have that in my online store

Boy, that was easy, Thanks!
And Happy New Year!
These gears have had over a year of thorough testing off shore. Very tough gears.
Following that thread would make me think they sold out way back.
Were more produced?

Yeah
Black Pearl, the gears are flawless, thanks.
I bottom fished with the reel with the new gears this week. While I wish that I could report that I winched up some real slobs, I only had a few short blackfish. (tautog). :( The gears were very smooth however.
Thanks for the help,
John
This gear set will also fit in PENN JigMaster 505HS reel as well.
