Ordering Reel Parts / Re: drag washer sizes by reel ...
Last post by borntofish - Today at 07:48:51 AMI was wondering if the drag washer thickness is critical - especially the under gear one? I replaced all the washers with carbontex on my ABU 7500C. I cut them myself from a 0.5 mm sheet. I have since found out that the under-gear washer is supposed to be 1 mm. Will it affect the meshing with the pinion gear? The reel seems to work alright.

Looks like the last 2 or 3 years' economic inflationary conditions have infiltrated those little suckers, too!

It can do both but i use charcoal mostly and add wood chucks as I go

Never smoked-up any tuna. Used to do Salmonids. The brine was just done to taste. Salt dissolved in water until it floats a raw egg, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic, marinate overnight in the fridge.
