Title: Keep doing what works
Post by: gstours on October 24, 2020, 01:36:24 AM
After losing a couple of jigs to bad luck it seemed kinda to take the wind our of my sail.   So I went back to a jig that I made earlier in green and a blue one.  With hi hopes ald time running out this jig never let me down.  I passed the rod to several passengers to give them a good fight and me a rest.   That day we cut a 150# or so halibut free in the last.  Here the jig and my pose.   Its a casting from a plaster o paris mold I made last winter.   Now that winter is coming i,m going to try some silicone mold building wit some help from Dave the octopus mold guy.
