Title: Went Rockfishing on Monday
Post by: spottybastard on December 31, 2011, 03:38:08 AM
Took my last fishing trip for 2011. 8)  Did pretty good on the Victory out of Pier Point landing in Long Beach CA.  Small hooks with squid strips using my trusty Penn 650ss coffee grinders.

Which leads me to a question, I've been reading up on some of these newer spinning reel and some of them post unbelievable drag pressure for really modest prices, do you folk think they are over stating?

A great mix of fish you got there.  Those old penn SSs are the best, easy to work on, and reliable.
