Title: Mangos on Fire
Post by: Newell Nut on April 28, 2016, 09:30:02 PM
Today was one of those extremely super days. Not telling how many but I did good but only took 3 home. My buddy Larry that I have been training for a couple seasons did well today too and a couple other guys also had good stringers. Just one of those WOW days on the Pastime Princess.

We have reached an agreement that works for both parties. It will become a Pink Amberjack Rod. Wrapping may be like yours and some cancer awareness ribbons. A little too much for mangos but a killer Pink Lady.

Fantastic! Is it going to be your amberjack rod? (In other words, not for sale...)  :)

Not planning to sell it. It will replace my Hercules Amberjack rod but if someone wants it bad enough, money talks. It is going to be a fun stick. Normally when I get a big AJ I just put the fore grip on the rail and let them pound on the rod while I winch. They can't hurt a Hercules rod no matter what color it is.
