Title: Late Season Bugs in Long Beach
Post by: Brewcrafter on February 27, 2024, 03:19:49 AM
Catching up; was able to go on a lobster charter last Thursday in Long Beach harbor.  Best bugging ever; the 4 of us limited out (28 bugs) in a little over 4 hours. Got to watch at Space X launch, the Marines were practicing insertions (nothing like a few Blackhawks screaming by at low altitude).  Good weather, and stellar trip.

Some of you that did an AT Morro Bay trip last year may recognize my fishing buddy Jim.

Very nice. I went to get something fresh to cook for my wife's birthday at the local fish mongers, the had live local spiny lobster for $69 a pound. That's some fine dining right there!
