Title: Size limit of fish
Post by: Brute347 on April 20, 2014, 09:06:23 PM
Hello,

So I've been reading about size limits of fish and what fish you can and can't keep. I'm having trouble understanding the information.

In the fishing regulations website, if you read about the cabezon, rockfish and greenlings ( whatever that is) it tells you the limit is 15 inches, then bellow that in a desperate paragraph it says 12"....?

Is there a post where the size limits and pictures of these fish can be found? If not, we should have a sticky of it, I'm willing to contribute to it as of now, lol

This link is from the regulations website. It has color pictures of common fish, no info on quantity or size limits

From the fish shown in your post I'm guessing your looking of the California Ocean Fish regulations.

Here is a link to the California Sport Fishing ocean regulation book.
