Hi Alan I just picked up a new  Daiwa Saltist 40 (SST40) do you know if the drags come dry? should i open it up and grease it and what grease would you use  thanks in advance oh yeah hows my tiburon squidder comming along

some of the star drag saltists are now being quietly sold with greased carbon fiber drag washers.  not sure which ones.  the squidder is 6th or 7th in line.  gonna try to clear out everything this week.  stay tuned! ;D

that's great!  now if they could just fix the anti-reverse system.  btw, arty, your reel is on it's way back.  there was only one small spot at the 6 o'clock position of the right inner ring that was rubbing, so i ground it down a little.  it spins like crazy now!  alan
