Title: Need more line capacity for Biomaster 2500 S and 1000 PGS
Post by: Redfish King on November 12, 2017, 10:50:13 PM
I have 2 new Biomasters 2500 S and 1000 PGS.I was surprised to see the low line capacity on these. The 2500S capacity is 80 yards for 6LB test and the 1000 has a capacity of 60 yards for 5 LB test.Man I need more than that!Does anyone know if a larger capacity spool is available for these and where would I purchase them?

You can always use braid - and a top shot if necessary ;)

pretty sure w/ JDM models the "S" in 2500S means Shallow Spool -- there should be compatible regular 2500-size spools that are pretty capacious, for a small reel...  w/ old models you could crisscross between Biomaster/TwinPower & Stradic/Sustain -- now, don't know

1000's are supposed to be small -- can't help you there
