I keep trying to find these reels. Do you have any idea if they are still back in business? The website is down.
They are for sale at Charkbait.com.
Hey Alan, the website you listed is down...I think this is the new site, but not positive it is run by ProGear.

Mark at Charkbait has posted a video on the new Pro Gear reels. He says they have a AR bearing and dogs? Has anyone here opened one up yet?

I have not seen the internals, but it should be a solid reel long term.
Charkbait has the reels listed as having a limited lifetime warranty, but the pro gear website has the reels listed with a 1 year warranty.

Looks like Black Pearls handle knobs on the new Pro Gear reels.

Any word on these, pics of internals? Looking for another jigging reel.
Just ordered V20 with 60#hollow braid.
I'll crack it open when it gets here!
My V30 should be here Monday!! Let ya know.
This will be good. I've been wondering.
V20 arrived today, sweet compact little beauty rated at 25lbs drag. Comes with a one year warranty with exceptions for abuse or negligence.
Hope to crack it open this evening but it now it's 120 degrees in my garage, I'm staying inside with the AC blasting.
Yeah, it's 96 on the Delta with a stiff breeze blowing. I like the looks of the progear. Haven't had one in my hands yet, but look forward to it.
