Title: Daiwa Capricorn Drag Grease
Post by: Bucktail on August 22, 2009, 03:22:40 AM
I have an old Capricorn 2500 spinner.  It doesn't appear that Smooth Drag has replacement washers for this reel.  So I'd like to just clean it up a bit.  Would you advise adding Cal's grease to these washers?  I can't find any information on whether they should be greased or not.

Thanks,
Bob

if it is a top drag spinner, it will be amazingly easy.  just measure out the drag washers and replace them with a penn ht-100 washer from this list.  http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=21.0  then slap on a coat of cal's grease and prepare to be amazed!
