Picked up this 331 knowing that i was painting it. (http://)
Stripped it down parts went in to the pan with gasoline , the painted parts got sprayed with oven cleaner (http://)
After clean up , I warm up the parts to be painted with a propane torch . This degases the aluminum and make the paint stick better .
Another thing i do after painting is to start waving the parts over the torch , this starts the wrinkling rite away and the baking process.
Look it over if it looks a little light in places spray it . I fire up the barbecue and place the part in at 200-250 degrees for 1-2 hours [img][/img
Some how i missed the before picture , and i will add the after .
