is the Wear Gear for a 6000 the same size as a 5000 or 5500c ???

Hi, No... the common reel worms with lengths short to long are: 45/4600, 5000-5600, 6000-6600, 7000-7800. The quick way to say all that is 4-5-6-7 sized reels all use worms in their families, short to long.
Line pawls are all the same.
