As our crappy weather is persisting with rain and wind the thought was ''this can,t last forever'' so we will wait it out.
Our King season is open in the winter here and there can be some skattered fish caught, Its never crowded with people nor boats so serene is expected. Here is a pretty fun clip of a day we had awhile ago I wanted to share again. Its possibly motovational in one way oar another.

Nice silver king! Yes Sir, calm day to land em Chinooks.
What kinda drag do you get on that mooching reel?
Never used one of those mooching reels...looks fun! 8)
Thanks for the question. I,ll get back to you on this, butt the direct drive and smooth ness of the drag is what I favor. 10-12 pounds I,m guessing. It takes that when pulling a diver with a large flasher at 3-4 mph. Drag creep is not good. Thanks.🎣👋
another gorgeous fish Gary, love to watch you and Ken getting into them.
Gary,
I have been following your chinook trolling for the past seasons,
10 lb ish, yeah, trolling em big flashers puts out some resistance.
My boat does 1.9 mph at idle, so I am guessing with 2 rigs in the water I will go down to 1.5 mph, might not need a bag to slow me down.
God willing I will troll for chinook by myself this spring and can't wait to try out my moooooochers :-)
