Is there any demand for 113H/349H size handle arms at somewhere around $15.00-$18.00 each? I need to sell 15 to break even and if I get commitments for the 15 I will buy the material and cut them.
Larger or smaller handle arms?
Count me with one handle Lee
Lee, put me down for two with 2 holes. Rudy
I need one, maybe two. This won't help, but I need one Larger for a 349 and one smaller for a 3/0 Magnum.

Lee, if you are doing the 2 hole position for the 113H, I would take 4.
Thanks and have a great day, .. Lou
I will be able to cut any of my Kranks up to 4.5" so a pre order can be the 2 hole type. That is the one I prefer too.
That works for me Lee, 113H 2 holer, and 4 would be great. Thanks very much for making these available again. Its appreciated!
Regard's, .. Lou
1/2 way to there.
I'm in for two Lee, thanks.
I'll commit to two Lee.
Can I prepay?
Lee,
Buddy Boy!!!
Put me down for ONE handle for my 349H reel!!!! a 2-holer if possible.
Thanks. I too will prepay.
Wayne
Is this referring to the two-hole model on this thread? http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=9209.0 Assuming these will fit the Penn Mag 980... I'd like to buy one, please, and can prepay today. /Joe
Two for me Lee, one hole two holes, it doesn't matter to me.
Sal
No pre pay, I have to do a test cut in the new material to make sure the hole is a proper fit snd I have to order the material. I am going to have these laser cut to reduce hole taper.
I'll take three Lee, with 5/16" handle hole. I can pay extra for that.
Daron
I will take one Lee.
Change mine to a Solid 2. I prefer the short handles and single hole

"What is short?" The 2 hole is 4.5" overall from end to center od first hole is 3.4", center of second hole is 4.15". I have a drawing for a handle arm that is 1 hole with the end to center length of 3.4".
Ok, as of now I have enough requests to order a 12"x12" sheet of 15-5 SS. I will order the material next Wednesday when my SS check arrives.
I will PM each of you and make sure I cut what you want.
Lee 4 for me please.
Keith
You drag knob should be showing up today.

I would like two of the the single hole. The original post asked "Larger or smaller arm?" I assumed that meant longer or shorter. Thanks for making these.

Sorry I was not clear, I meant Type A (500/112H) and Type C (114H) handle arms. I am not sure if I can do a Type C with the thickness I am going to order.

"Edited as per Moderators to correct Scott's Bait & Tackle over to their new store name Mystic Reel Parts / www.mysticparts.com"
Lee, if you are going to do a run for 112h handles then I will take one too
Thats make it one 113h and one 112h
I have enough pre sold to order a 12"x24" sheet and I will be cutting Type A and B, if the material is thick enough I will cut some Type C's. I can order thicker material if I can sell 15-18 Type C handle arms.
The SS alloy I am ordering is far harder than the 308 and 316 I have been using.
Lee
Ill take 3 for 113h two hole preferably

No problem, my lack of experience with the terminology. Two to fit the 113h with single holes.
I'd prefer the single hole as well, but I'm in for whatever you decide.

I'm in no rush, but still willing to prepay if it would help.
Lee, I'd also be happy to prepay if it helps. The government paycheck isn't the greatest for sure.
.................Lou
I have considered 50% but I hate taking $ before I have the parts. Things should get better once it warms up and the heating bill goes down.
Spending $ on things like rebarreling a rifle for sage rat shooting and my wife destroying a year old tire by driving 5 miles on it flat don't help.
Now that the SSS is over and I am back home I will be trying to sell a few reels, that will help.
Lee, I'll also prepay if that will help getting this project off the ground. Rudy

I not gonna tell you if is a good move to sell reels to buy the materials or not but the normal way when you order something custom is that you have to prepay 50% to ensure the business to the seller, if someone cancel the order is money loss for you and that no ok.
I also totally open to a 50% prepay, why dont you calculate the cost of the material and ask for 10 or 12 guys that wanted to prepay 50% enough to cover the materials, the rest of the orders can pay you in full when you get the parts finished.
When I have a rod or reel from a friend or from a walk-in customer and ask me to fix their rods/reels, I'd ask for 50% prepay, I hate having rods or reels sitting on my shelf for weeks or months cuz the customer its not in a hurry to get it back, well with 50% prepay at least I have my money from materials covered.
The reels I am selling are ones I do not use. I will think over a 50% deposit but I would not feel right if it was not refundable, things happen and I would not want to put others in a bind.

Not that I'm a significant player in the trade on this site, but, at least in principle, sharing risk between seller and buyer seems like the "ohana" thing to do :) Generally it is the seller who takes the bigger risk.

I'm in for a pre-pay also. 50% or a 100% doesn't matter.
I will also pre-pay for the Krank. I also need a set of 113 lug blanks to go with the Krank.
I'll be glad to donate $40 to help buy material. No strings attached :) -Ted
