Title: 113H Spring Washers
Post by: Long Enuff on February 23, 2018, 09:56:11 PM
I just finished breaking down and cleaning three 113H external drag access Senators and each had a different spring washer configurations.  Number one had two spring washers on top of the drag stack and nothing between the star and hat spacer.  Number two had two spring washers between the star and hat spacer, nothing on top of the drag stack. Number three had one between the star and hat spacer, nothing on the drag stack. I think none are correct, and should be one between the star and hat spacer and one on top of the drag stack. Thoughts?

That's what happens to older reels that get taken apart over the years.

I set them up with nothing under the top hat spacer. You may have to add an extra metal drag washer on top of the last one. This adjusts the height. On top of the spacer is the thinner spring washer then the star.

I know im repeating myself from other posts but I use a Delrin washer on top of the spring washer. It makes tightening the drag star so much easier.
