ist pic is GARDEN IS;on the right
we are only a mile from the boat ramp (mainland)
we got no snapper,most boats missed out on
the last day restrictions start 1/10 2013 until 1/1/2014.
we were plagued by these baby sharks like nicole is holding
i think they are only a week old'
vicious little rows of teeth shaped like
fish hooks turned back in towards there throats.
dont know what species they are.
any aussies know?

any day on the water, mel b
2 wks ago we had plenty of full size bronze whalers
seems they dropped their babies.(just a guess)
just leaving for a squidding and whiting fish now for a couple of hours

1st pic,our launching ramp
2nd, in the background you can see a frigate(boat)
6 mths they have been trying to put 2 props on.
thats where they build the pt boats for usa.
3rd, capt; trev teaching his 13yr old(nicole)
4,  on her own,out and back to fishing grounds
5,  this is what we were after.king george whiting!
we caught a good load,then went and caught some squid.
great day,gd weather,short trip,$20 fuel,gd company.
6, got 3 or 4 over the 1/2m size. my fav; eating fish.
alto mare,the table top is marble,we are pretty posh here in oz.

20lb fluoro leader was used(1m) and im sure thats the reason i landed all the large ones.
we were in only 5m,s of water ,trev and nicole used mono. cheers

penn 420ss (ebay),local 4kg rod.
pelagic 2000 srx reel,modified shimano sahara rod.tip cut back 4",handle extended
srx 2000,10 jap bb,carbon fibre drag washers, all standard.  $26aud+$11postage off ebay
gd buy for light use,dry as a bone inside.
