Title: Kastking Centron 2000
Post by: jgp12000 on February 10, 2022, 01:06:12 PM
I have had this Kastking Centron 2000 as a dock queen for 3 years now and I have done virtually no maintenance, just replacing line as needed. Now it appears I need to do some maintenance, during retrieve when the spool gets to a certain spot it gets rough. I haven't torn it down yet maybe it's rust? The AR is instant, but if you open the bail near the bail trip lever it will not close the bail on retrieve. I  normally close the bail by hand anyway on my nicer reels, the bail spring is strong, maybe it's just the physics of this reel. It's been a good one.

It can not be over emphasized how a simple cleaning will improve most any mechanism.  8)
