Title: Adding second pawl on Trini?
Post by: DEA on June 02, 2010, 06:44:58 AM
Hey Alan you had mentioned on the Trini 30 tutorial about adding a second anti reverse pawl to the system.

Have you added one before by cutting the yoke plate? If so, how did it work out?

I realize the first pawl can be spring loaded, however, just wondering if a double pawl set up is even feasible *without* much modification to ensure maximum anti-reverse reliability?

Thx

Will

hi, wil!  so the trinidad/torium 40's and 50's have two dogs.  they can/should both be replaced with trinidad DC dogs and springs.  for the trinidad/torium 16/20/30, there is just one spring.  one is fine.  alan
