Has anyone used gummy worms for bass fishing.I used the regular ones, not the sour ones for fishing large mouth bass and caught a few on them. I also tried them on trout and only caught one.5003_GummyWorms_pile-N-0ESyqg-zoom.jpg
I've only ever seen Swedish Fish take them. ^-^
Never tried Gummie Worms but have had poor results using Gummie Bears and those little peaunut thingies they have at Easter.
One good thing about using candy for bait is you always have a Nice Snack with you . Powdered Cherry Jellow on Chicken Liver overnight gets Mr. Whiskers in my neck of the woods.
why would you want diabetic Bass/Trout... less fight & worse nutrition :D
take those gummies somewhere w/ BOTH, Common & Grass Carp (White Amur) -- that'll test your Bass tackle

C'mon, now! If you haven't tried the pig brains mixed with shredded cattail (the plant), you should try it. It comes in a mason jar and usually sits next to the quail eggs. Actually, give it to your "best" friend to try first....cause it stanks real bad. It's real. I bought a jar in Granger and left it at the bottom of Granger lake.
Never tried gummy-anything-candy as bait. Carp ought to like it and that would be fun.

Just plain chicken liver and gizzards gets channel cats and even the smaller pond cats here in Pa. Even tried home made bait that you roll into balls and put on a hook.
Here it is, but no longer in a mason jar....which loses my vote.
