Title: 113 rescue.
Post by: thorhammer on January 23, 2018, 01:14:21 AM
Bought this pair around 2002.  I think I may have greased gears about ten years ago and they have sat in a corner.  I have a bunch of rings, stands etc from 113h CC builds so I decided to see if I could do a facelift.  I think these got drug down the pavement when they came off headboat. Rough. Note these were basically twins before I did first one.  New Carbontex too. I do need to drill out what's left of click tongues and replace but fully functional otherwise.

The Black handle one looks pretty good, the other one, not so much.
Work your magic John Boy. ;)
The only way I sit a reel in a corner for ten years.
She is resting in her crown royal bag, nicely serviced, lubed and waiting. ;)

John, that's a nice job, good to be able to compare the two reels, give you plenty of satisfaction, better still, is to go out & catch a good fish with it ay, thanks for posting, cheers Don.
