No luck finding a schematic for a 282 albacore special. Anybody?
Hi,
Great reel - I used to have a NIB 280, which held 'pride of place' on my shelf for a few years.
Schematics for the 280/282 are unavailable, as far as I'm aware.
However, Alan did a tutorial on the 280, which is essentially identical (the only difference being width):

Also, here's a schematic for the 255 which, once again, is essentially the same (just smaller overall):

Hope that's of some assistance.
All the best, Justin

The 255 inside, is the same as a Jigmaster.
Justin, good to hear from you. Hope all is well in New Zealand !!
Mark T is our resident Pro Gear guy. I know nothing about PG reels, except the 545,541,454,440,441....
......but a few years ago I bought a new in box PG 280 from Randy Pauly. Justin says the 282 & 280 are same reel, just different widths. Here is the schematic for a 280 albacore special. -Ted-

Good job Ted.
